No other subject could have been more fitting for this new edition of the Conversations under the Tree. At the Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire, beauty lies in nature in more ways than one. On the one hand, for more than 30 years the International Garden Festival has been exploring ways of improving the bonds that people have with nature, and on the other, the Centre for Arts and Nature welcomes the best of contemporary creation linked to it every year.
The beauty of the natural landscapes of the Loire Valley, the magnificence of the remarkable trees in the historic park, the delicate poetry of the flower collections… make the Estate a hymn to nature, highlighted over the years by hundreds of creators. Painters, sculptors, draughtsmen, landscape designers, designers, photographers… offer the public their views of this nature that soothes minds and bodies. For in the West, when we speak of the beautiful, the good is never far away.
